Recently I attended Sherwin William’s Colormix 2012 Presentation showcasing the colors for 2012. The colors for next year are awe inspiring! They are inspired by Mother Earth and are really about getting back to the basics. Aren’t we all? Check them out here.

My favorite take away from the presentation is: “texture is the new bling.“ Everything is all about texture! Textures layered expertly upon textures. Now don’t get me wrong, I love bling as much as the next girl, but I also have quite a love affair with textures! Also, metallics will still play a big role in color pallets next year, but they will be softer and less shiny. Think more shimmer and less shine. I am imagining what all of these TEXTURAL and SHIMMERY weddings will be like…awwww…can’t wait to see the pics!
